
White tank tops are one of my warm weather staples, but it’s hard finding one that fits just right–snug enough to tuck smoothly, but not so tight that it might ride up. Length is also an issue for those of us who are not “average height” since most basics are only available in one size type.
If you struggle with finding a well-fitted tank top, consider bodysuits–which has come a long way from 80s leotards–as an option. They sometimes come in extended sizes, and almost all have comfortable, bonded snap closures at the crotch.

Butter Rib Square Neck Bodysuit in two colorways during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (still ongoing but availability for popular styles has become limited) and have been pleased with their ease, comfort, and versatility. The medium-weight material (94% nylon, 6% spandex) is soft and stretchy while providing some compression/sculpting. The shoulder straps are also wide enough to hide most bra straps and armpit rolls.
