I bought several skortsies in the spring “for tennis,” but the reality is I wear more practical options–lightweight windbreakers during the day or merino layers under a warm vest in the evening–when I actually play, and the one-pieces are worn more as athleisure.
Over the summer, I wore this Lou & Grey Wanderweave Zip Jacket weekly to play tennis; it has a relaxed fit and a roomy (zippered) kangaroo pocket in which I keep my keys and handfuls of tissues. While the material is a bit transparent, it still provides protection from the sun.
