Ballet flats are my favorite everyday shoes: they are dressier than sneakers and more elegant than loafers, which make them perfectly suited to my “whimsically” preppy style. I usually have a pair in my work tote, and will always pack them for travel. One of my favorite pairs is the Tieks Classic Ballet Flat, which is endlessly versatile, made to be easily packable, and the classic silhouette transcends time-bound trends.
The soft, full-grain leather requires no break-in period, but still manages to provide structure to maintain its designed shape. The contrasting rubber soles also have a non-skid design which make these flats suitable for even slick surfaces. In terms of fit, as only full sizes are offered, size up or down depending on your foot width: I normally wear a size 6.5 and took a size 7 for my slightly wide feet and find it to be a good fit. Tieks also has a generous exchange policy in the event a wrong size is ordered.

I have worn my Tieks Ballet Flats at least three times a week for several months now, and can attest to their durability and versatility. They have saved my feet from blisters on multiple occasions, as the foldable design allows them to travel everywhere with me without adding excess bulk to my pack, so I can quickly change into them on days when I start out in heels.
And they look just as good with casual looks as they do with dressier ones, and I really enjoy the turquoise pop of color that the practical non-skid rubber soles add.
