Reformation’s Mara Midi Dress is an instant classic and conveys both a sense of occasion and ease; it is a whole outfit and requires very little styling.
In the warmer months, try accessorize with a waist-cinching belt and some dainty jewelry. And when the mercury drops, top with a cozy oversized coat and finish with sock-friendly high boots.
DETAILS
This timeless dress has several fine design details: the flattering silhouette–a fitted bodice with a flowy, but not overwhelming skirt; a partially smocked back with zipper to facilitate “easy on, easy off”; a flirty sweetheart neckline that welcomes necklaces, versatile three-quarter sleeves, an interesting center back cut-out and adjustable back ties that are strapless bra friendly, and a peekaboo side slit to allow ease of movement.

MATERIAL & CONSTRUCTION
The lightweight crepe material–53% viscose and 47% rayon–is breathable, but inelastic and dry-clean only; without any spandex in the material, the dress is wrinkle-prone and will require a thorough steam before every wear, but the wrinkling is barely noticeable in darker colors and busier prints.
SIZING
Reformation generally runs slightly small to size compared to mass market brands: its standard woven fabric, like what the Mara is made from, is a breathable but inelastic rayon; the smocked back and back zipper allow some flexibility, but not enough to make a difference in sizing.
The Mara Dress is available in sizes 0-12, and in petite sizes 0P-12P.

If you like everything about the Mara Dress but the sweetheart neckline, try the Reformation Sigmund Dress, which is a similar style, just with a square neckline:
