I became a Hat Person™ in my thirties. While I initially started wearing them to protect my face from the sun, hats are now a part of my daily routine and add a finishing touch to my outfits. Baseball caps, in particular, have become my handy crutch to preppify an everyday outfit, or to conceal a bad hair day.
Baseball caps are also generally inexpensive and serve a useful purpose. However, since I don’t stan any sports teams or feel a deep affinity for a major city, I’ve decided a subtle designer logo embroidered on the cap is sufficiently interesting. It’s one of the easiest ways to add texture and color to a basic ensemble.
