The J. Crew Louisa Lady Jacket in Gingham Terry Tweed that I am wearing here is (newly) on sale and an extra 40% off with code SPRING. The fit is “classic” so it’s cut somewhat generously through the waist, giving the piece a boxier shape. In size 00 the jacket measures 14″ across the shoulder, 17.5″ from underarm to underarm, 18.5″ in body length, with 21″ sleeve lengths.
The material, a cotton blend that’s 54% recycled cotton/32% polyester/12% acrylic/2% other fibers and dry-clean only, is midweight (thus great for transitional weather) and hides wrinkles well.
You can channel your inner Cher Horowitz or Maddy Perez and get the matching skirt for a two-piece set look. Or dress down the jacket and pair it with looser-fitting denim as I did here.

Love the denim version of the Louisa Jacket! If I didn’t already own a dozen denim jackets I probably would’ve ordered it. Reviews online also look promising. 🙂
