Plaid Fleece

***** This blog is undergoing some changes this month, so apologies in advance for any issues you might encounter. And if you do spot any issues, please let me know by email so I can work to fix them. Thank you! *****

The last weeks of fall have been milder than expected, so I’m finding fleece jackets to be a sufficiently warm outerwear option for now. And two new additions to my rotation of fleece jackets are from a third-party seller on Amazon called Merokeety. The brand’s quality can be hit or miss, but these two fleece jackets are soft, warm–if a bit bulky–and fairly chic as far as fleece jackets go. The fit is loose, so don’t upsize unless you are looking for a truly oversized fit.

The pullover version is currently on sale in all colorways:

Was wearing Etude House’s Matte Chic Lip Lacquer in #OR203 that day. And then I had used Clinique’s Pop Splash Lip Gloss + Hydration in Juicy Apple to touch up. Hope this helps! 🙂

Hi there – do you find that these fleeces begin to pill and/or get lumpy after being washed? I’m interested in the over-the-head one but worry about the texture deteriorating over time as it sometimes does with that kind of fleece. Thanks!

      Hi Jillian,

I’ve washed the plaid fleece pullover a few times and haven’t found it to be especially pill-prone or for it to become lumpy after washing. I do wash them inside out and in a mesh bag, though. And I also air dry or machine-dry them at lower temperatures. The construction is fair for the price, but the fleece is not as supple as more premium options. Hope this helps!
