Can you believe Christmas is only five days away?! For those of you doing last-minute shopping, here are some widely-available things that I’m gifting this year.
NEST New York Holiday Classic Candle & Diffuser Set
This set is perfect for those who want to get into the holiday spirit without doing any of the work. The brand’s signature holiday scent is light, yet warm. And the beautiful packaging makes this a great holiday gift, requiring very little effort from the gift-giver.

Subscription Services for Booklovers
For book and audiobook lovers who don’t necessarily only read new releases, consider gifting them a Scribd subscription. Of the various services to which I subscribe, Scribd has easily been the best value.
If your gift recipient prefers audiobook bestsellers, an Audible membership would make a great gift.

Cozy Throws
I am a blankets fiend, and can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t benefit from having an extra plush throw blanket. One of my favorites to gift is Barefoot Dreams’s CozyChic Throw Blanket; this bestseller is exceptionally soft and lightweight.
I would also recommend UGG’s Coastline Plush Throw Blanket, a heavier-weight option which would make a great gift for people who run cold.
Another gift in the blanket family that makes holiday travel a little more comfortable is wearable throws. I like this L.L.Bean option which comes in four colorways and has handwarmer pockets.

Indoor/Outdoor Slippers
Another gift that will be sure to keep its recipient snuggly through the winter is a great pair of slippers that will pass for outdoor shoes. UGG makes some of my favorite options, from the multipurpose Diara Boot to the classic Ultra Mini Boot, to the versatile Neumel Boot.

FUN FOODS
Another gift that’s always a hit with my friends and family is clever food items presented in festive packaging, like these Hot Cocoa Snowmen which make hot cocoa-making at home a spectacle every time.

Cook This Book
A selfish thing that I do is send friends copies of the cookbook that I am cooking from: once my friends all have a copy I would casually suggest Zoom dates during which we attempt to cook the same recipes. The cookbook that I am obsessed with at the moment is Molly Baz’s Cook This Book. The writing is a touch quirky, but the recipes are uncomplicated and challenge me to use new (to me) ingredients.

Give the Gift of Giving
A meaningful last-minute gift that some of my friends actively ask for in lieu of presents is a donation to charities and causes that they support. Charity Navigator is a great resource to both find and learn more about the charities that you are planning to donate to.
