Now that the season for barrel pants has come to a close, I have been trying out different pant styles to decide which one feels the most practical for fall: among the frontrunners are the wide-leg trousers, which work well with boots of all kinds.
For anyone who is also experimenting with wider-leg pants this season, one affordable option that I like is being offered this season in a “short” version that’s stubbier-legs friendly. While Tronjori’s High Waist Wide Leg Trousers aren’t wrinkle-resistant (and will need to be thoroughly unwrinkled out of the bag), the liquid drape of the medium-weight (100%) polyester material elevates the natty trouser with a touch of romance.
Some details that I like about the Tronjori Trousers: the understated front pleats, roomy side pockets, wide belt loops, and the subtle elasticated waist in the back.
In size XS Short, these trousers (when laid flat) measure 12″ at the waist, 17″ at the hip, and 36″ in overall length. Because of the partially elasticated waistband, the fit at the waist is fairly forgiving. However, because the sizing is more “junior” in fit, I wouldn’t size down from your normal Amazon third-party seller size.
