Happy first “official” day of fall! Because apple-picking season is upon us, and you may soon have a surplus of apples that you don’t know what to do with, I want to share a video from NYT Cooking’s YouTube channel titled “10 Ways to Apple Pie With Erin Jeanne McDowell.” It’s a glorious video that I like to play in the background when I have to tackle especially unpleasant projects. And I intend on making every apple dish shown in the video this fall.
The dress that I am wearing in this post is one of a few budget sweater dresses that I plan to review… soon. The price point (<$35) is extremely approachable, but the quality is merely passable. It’s also not quite as chunky as you might expect from looking at the stock photos; it’s softer than expected, but also thinner than most fisherman sweaters. Still, if you are looking for something that can take you from laying about to running errands, this is a rather reasonable option.
