The cropped tank, or what Free People calls “brami,” is the warm-weather basic that I am wearing on repeat this summer. It pairs naturally with the (super) high-waisted bottoms that have returned this year, and can be worn alone or layered.
One style that I might end up owning in all available colorways by the end of summer is the Free People Intimately FP Solid Rib Brami Crop Top. The wider straps allow for a traditional, over-the-shoulder bra (if you choose to wear one), and the material–50% rayon, 45% nylon, 5% spandex–has enough weight to both hold its shape and hug your body without constricting it. The only drawback is that it’s only offered in two sizes–XS/S and M/L–and the fit is on the smaller side (with a higher-cut armscye, which I personally love in this style), so those who are particularly buxom or tall might be sized out here.
