Cropped Cardigan & Wide-Leg Pants

Recent updates to the homely cardigan are a welcomed upgrade: I thoroughly enjoy the fitted, cropped silhouette. It’s kind of a perfect transitional piece, no? On warmer days, pair it with a lighter bottom (like the wide-leg crop pants shown in this post); or wear it under chunkier knits on colder days. It’s as effortless as it’s comfortable.

For those of you in the market for cropped cardigans, here are several pretty options:

Madewell Cotton & Linen Baseball Cap (also here)|| Quay My Girl Sunglasses (near-perfect dupe here) || iamKhatu Lemon Blossom Face Mask (I was very careless the first time I washed this mask… used hot water in the washer and then put it through high heat in the dryer… it’s not looked the same since–you can see in my photos that the fabric looks a bit wrinkled now–but still fits and remains comfortable!) || Forever 21 Layered Medallion Necklace (past season)|| Abercrombie & Fitch Puff Sleeve Cropped Cardigan (size XS) || ALLSAINTS Fetch Leather Crossbody Bag (strap on shortest setting) || Ann Taylor Wide Leg Marina Pant (2P, waist taken in; last seen here) || Cole Haan Grand Crosscourt II Sneaker (also here and here)

And some sale news! The ALLSAINTS Fetch Chain Leather Crossbody Bag seen above (and reviewed here) is on super sale in the same “chalk white” color that I own; it’s now $59.20 after an extra 20% off at ALLSAINTS. If you are in the market for a compact yet functional crossbody bag in white, look no further. The only issue I have is–because I like to wear the bag with the strap on the shortest setting–the loose, excess strap flap. But it’s more of an eyesore than a true hindrance, and I plan to get the strap professionally shortened after the pandemic.
