For those of you who are shopping the sale, here are some of my favorite pieces from the new collection:
A timeless, versatile set that is just as chic worn together as it is worn separately. The material (a Polyester/Acrylic/Rayon/Wool blend) is the perfect weight for “in-between” weather. The contrasting faille trim and gold buttons work well as accents to update this classic for the new decade. I’m very tempted by the shift dress in the same material/style that is an online exclusive.
A great work-to-weekend piece for transitional weather: looks great with both denim and work pants. The medium-weight fabric (surprisingly luxe for 60% Viscose/40% Nylon) drapes well and adds some warmth, without bulk, to an outfit. Fits true to size: my normal size fit well with a light base layer.
Perfect for trench fiends like me who need a transseasonal option: this sweater trench will also come in handy in the warmer months to fend off chills in well air-conditioned offices. I sized up in this style for a fuller, more dramatic drape in front.
Ann Taylor is my go-to for drape-y work-appropriate blouses that can pull double-duty as weekend wear. I already own a few tie neck blouses from Ann Taylor, but couldn’t pass this one up, as the v-neck and softly-fitted silhouette transition easily from day to night.
I can’t say enough good things about this cardigan. I wake up most days wishing for nice-enough weather to re-wear some version of this outfit. Love the color, pearlized buttons, and looser fit. Also looks great with just a simple camisole, fitted jeans, and some comfortable flats.
