One home design trend that I’ve warmed to is the hat gallery wall. It’s not an especially compelling aesthetic decision, but one that seems functional for those (like me) who have more hats than they know what to do with.
The latest addition to my straw hats collection is the Madewell Stampede-Strap Straw Boater Hat (seen above), which is now an extra 30% off at Madewell with code VERYRARE. While the chin strap may evoke a farmer’s hat, I find it extremely effective in guarding against windblown hats. On merely breezy days, just tying the scarf around my hair will secure the hat to my head.
