No one outfit will meet everyone’s definition of “festive dressy,” so here are dozens of options for those who are still shopping for party dresses. And while I don’t personally use rental services like RTR–because I enjoy having a corner of my closet looking like a glitter bomb exploded there–it is not too late to rent dresses. Some rental options that caught my attention:
——————————- Office ——————————-

——————————- Casual ——————————-

Fits true to size for BB, and is rather wrinkle-prone–will require a through steam before every wear.

——————————- Cocktail ——————————-

I used to be a cocktail dress enthusiast/hoarder (depends on who you ask) and at my worst (or best??) I probably had close to 100 hanging in my closet. Though I’ve since whittled that number down to 10, I think having one or two evergreen cocktail options in your closet is pragmatic.
——————————- Formal ——————————-

Made from medium-weight crepe with a touch of stretch (93% polyester, 7% spandex) that is not fully wrinkle-resistant. Fits slightly large to size so size down if you are an in-between size. The length (~60″) will need to be shortened if you are under 5’6. I would recommend this option if you have a more rectangular shape, as the dress really accentuates curves, even on those who, like me, don’t have much.

Fits somewhat small to size (though the material has stretch) so size up if you are curvy. It’s a gorgeous option that I would recommend to those who are at least 5’7 (if you are about my height–5’2– the dress will bunch unflatteringly in places).

——————————- NYE ——————————-
For me, NYE dresses are all about sparkle, and luxe materials like velvet.

Happy shopping!
