In the right hands, tunics are infinitely wearable. Swap a standard-issue crewneck sweater for a tunic worn casually-tucked, and your skirt suit will instantly look 8x cooler; or throw it over some slinky wide-leg pants to join the menocore fun.
My favorite way to wear a tunic is to wear it as a dress: all that’s required is a slip with a pretty trim, as the goal is to add length without adding bulk.
The Chelsea28 Lace Trim Half Slip worn here has just the right amount of lace trim, and is cut loosely to allow for sudden movements. The material (100% polyester) and construction are unexceptional, but it’s priced rather reasonably.

And a few notable sales to close out the weekend:
♥ If you haven’t already, do browse Nordstrom’s fall sale, as it’s a treasure trove of discounted goods. The BP. Reversible Houndstooth & Grid Scarf (now $14.90) that I mentioned in the last post is still available online in both colorways.
♥ Until 11/13/18, use code MAGICUS at Sezane for $10 off your order. (There are some stipulations, but I don’t believe you have to actually meet them.)
♥ Uniqlo is offering free shipping on all orders until the end of today. I went ham on the Uniqlo x Alexander Wang collab, but am glad I did because the collection is selling really well online.
♥ Everything is on sale at the Gap, and you can use code BEST for an extra 30% off your purchase.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
