Reworking this post ended up being a cakewalk, since nearly everything I highlighted in my original post sold out by the time I started to update the post. There are still great deals to be found, though, and below are a few that I would recommend browsing.
Select styles are now 50% off at Ann Taylor with code TRENDING, including the Soludos Ibiza Classic Sneakers, which are still full-price elsewhere (read reviews at Soludos, Nordstrom, Zappos, and Shopbop). I find that they fit true to size (if you wear thin socks and are in between sizes, you can order the smaller of your two sizes).
Other sale picks (all shoes… most of which I own):
And the Saks designer sale is on second cut. Seasoned shoppers know that designer sales, at this point in time, are a waiting game. If you are patient and enjoy the hunt, bookmark sale pages after you’ve added the necessary filters, and check those pages throughout the day.
Sale styles are an extra 30% off at Kate Spade with code BIGBIGBIG. I ordered the Maggie Flats pictured below which I’ve had my eyes on for some time. Shipping is free on all orders, but note that some styles are final sale.
Bloomingdale’s private sale has started: use code PRIVATE to take $25 off every $100 you spend on select regular-price items. I would also recommend peeking in the sale section, though, as there are certainly great deals to be found still.
The Nordstrom anniversary sale doesn’t start for another month (this year’s sale runs from 07/20 to 08/5; early access starts at 07/12), but new styles are added to its sale section on a close-to-daily basis so that’s also a sale worth browsing.
I’ve mentioned before that I enjoy browsing Bag Borrow or Steal as there are occasional gems in its “buy” section. They are currently running a storewide 30% off sale (use code SUMMER30 at checkout) which sweetens some deals. Were it not for the fact that I’ve exhausted my fun fund this month already, I would probably browse this sale with purpose.
