Transitional weather can be difficult to dress for, but I see it as an opportunity to make full use of my wardrobe: here, a cold-weather sweater dress worn without dark base layers is calibrated for early spring with a pastel warm-weather swing jacket, and finished with seasonless sneakers.
ASOS Design Swing Button Mac (size UK4) || Adidas Originals Pureboost X TR 2 Running Shoes (also sold here) || J. Crew Cable-Knit Turtleneck Sweater-Dress (size XXS) || Michael Kors Runway Gold-Tone Chronograph Watch || Miu Miu Vitello Lux Large Bow Satchel (past season; found a used one on sale here) with J. Crew Detachable Bag Strap
Another silver lining to a chillier start to spring: I am finally getting the chance to wear all of the dress coats which were sidelined last winter for not being warm enough for arctic-like conditions. That I can say I have worn them all at least once before having to put them away again is no small consolation.
Have a great week, everyone!
