It’s finally time: I am imposing an indefinite moratorium on off-the-shoulder dresses. Regardless of how effortlessly flirty they are, I will no longer be inconvenienced by them—I am reclaiming the freedom to wear jackets (properly) and totes (on my shoulder).
Honestly, though, I don’t expect this self-imposed moratorium to last long. Off-the-shoulder dresses are fine for warmer months, and perfectly compatible with crossbody bags. And I was close to announcing my off-the-shoulder dress moratorium before I saw this stripe ruffle dress at Ann Taylor. I have no regrets, though, as I like everything about it (fitting room review here).
