I ordered the Ann Taylor Stripe Off the Shoulder Sheath Sweater Dress a size down from the size pictured here; it fits about half a size (to a full size) larger than what you might expect (even accounting for the intended, slightly looser fit), and the material is thick enough to not be wrinkle-prone. I can see this being great for travel. The length is a little longer than what I was expecting, but with a “nude” heel it can still be flattering. (I am 5’2 and wearing a petite size here.)

I also tried on the Orange Blossom Belted Shirtdress, which is lightweight and perfect for summer. The fit is true to size. I like the print’s muted palette, but am not sold on the cotton poplin, which looks like it requires a good steam before every wear.

Ann Taylor’s lace sheath dresses will always have a special place in my closet, and I couldn’t resist trying on this spring’s version in a bold, fiery red. The style fits about a half size smaller than other AT sheath dresses, so size up if you are buxom.

I love the vibrant color of this Matte Jersey Bell Sleeve Top, and can see it pairing well with shorts. I do find it too trendy, and unlikely to survive another season before looking passé, so passed on it.

I am on the fence about the Striped Ruffle Off the Shoulder Top, which is appropriately priced and pretty good for what it is. The material is stretchy (a rayon, nylon, and spandex mix) and should travel well. If I don’t already own like 10 tops similar to this one, I probably would’ve bought this on the spot. The fit is true to size.
The shoes seen above are the Demi Suede T-Strap Sandals, which fit true to size for Ann Taylor shoes.
