Years of enthusiastic opposite season shopping have netted me drawers full of plain sweaters in nearly every color; thus, only knits with a moderate amount of frill excite me these days, and I am particularly drawn to details like the bow on this J.Crew sweater (now on sale in all three colors; use code HAPPYSPRING for an extra 30% off).
Reviews of this sweater were mixed, though the majority of complaints are (unsurprisingly) related to fit: some people complained that it was boxy and short, and others found the v-neck too low-cut for office settings. I am on the short end of average (5’2”), and found the length in my usual size (XXXS in tops) reasonable; I also thought that the neckline dipped a little too low for my own taste, but not immodestly so.
