Nine West Mana Leather Heeled Sandal: Taupe | Natural | Light Pink

For those seeking alternatives to the (pretty but not very comfortable) Steve Madden Stecy Sandals (see on me here), I have a few reviews scheduled for similar styles.

First up are the similarly-priced ($89) Nine West Mana Sandals, which I found to be more comfortable than the Stecy and perhaps equally as flattering. I preferred the Steve Madden “natural” to Nine West’s take on the same shade so ended up with the more uncomfortable style. “Stecy” also has a slimmer front strap, which contributes to its discomfort, but makes it slightly more appealing to me.

The fit is true to size. Those between sizes and with medium or narrow feet can take the smaller of two sizes.

The “Mana” has 3.75″ tall stiletto heels (to Stecy’s 4″ heels), but are more comfortable because of the relatively moderate slope of the arch. The ankle straps on the Mana are also wider and do a better job of securing the shoes to one’s feet. These minor differences together make the Mana a considerably more functional shoe than the Stecy, which I continue to attempt to break in with little success.

Buy the Nine West Mana Sandal at Nine West (now on sale, sweetened by a limited time promotion), 6PM, Amazon, Zappos, Nordstrom, or Shoebuy.

And for those in the market for comfortable lace up sandals, these Nine West Unfrgetabl Suede Dress Pumps (from this post) that I own in two colors are on sale for >50% off in select colors and sizes. Read reviews here, here, here, and here. They run true to size for Nine West, which I feel is 1/4 to a 1/2 size large than average.
