I call this gray cape my adventure cape. Since getting it a few weeks ago, every time I’ve worn it I’ve had plans disrupted. It’s never rarely fun getting rained on while just missing a bus, or being stranded in the middle of nowhere with no car or livery service, but I do enjoy the mild adrenaline rush that comes with misadventures.
This cape’s magical powers aside, gray capes are generally very versatile. They look great with button downs and black trousers, with white dresses, or with silk blouses and leather shorts.

The DKNY cape shown here is available online in gray or black in limited sizes. I had also previously ordered this H&M cape and thought the quality was more than adequate, in case any of you is interested in an alternative style.
