I shunned backpacks growing up. As soon as it became possible for me to switch to totes and satchels, I promptly made the transition without even a moment of hesitation.
That I now choose to wear backpacks is an interesting twist. I wear my Prada backpack (last seen here) with some frequency and even use it as a hiking daypack. It’s perfectly light but at times is too small to hold the gadgets necessary to keep me entertained on longer trips. This Faux Leather Backpack from Aeropostale filled the void perfectly and I’ve been taking it with me on weekend trips (in addition to the Transport Weekender).
