This is one of my foolproof weekend uniforms for Spring: colorful tweed jacket, lightweight silk blouse, and light wash jeans. It’s neither overdone nor nonchalant as though to say: I exerted some effort, but only enough to look presentable.

A few words about the Min Edition Contrast Placket Silk Button Down Blouse, which is hardly an inexpensive investment but will fit someone who shares my constitution (sizes run XS-M) without alterations.
The blouse is more substantial and opaque than many white-silk-blouse options currently available in stores but if you, like me, are not accustomed to wearing camisoles with blouses, a flesh-colored bra will work effectively to conceal bra outlines.
Min Edition caters specifically to a proportionally petite crowd; the blouses will fit most women under 5’4 with an average bust or taller women with shorter torsos/arms and narrower (for their height) shoulders.
