Olive and Cream (+ Gap Cable Knit Pullover Review)

Olive and cream go like milk and cookies and it’s a combination that’s hard to nitpick. It has become my default when I am pressed for time. Sure, it’s somewhat flavorless in the grand scheme of things but if you play with textures the combination can generate some unexpected surprises.

Zara Tweed Jacket | Polo Ralph Lauren Cable Cardigan (last worn here) | Alice + Olivia Wendy Lace Blouse | H&M Slim-fit Pants | Kate Spade New York Abstract Signature Bow Medium Harmony Tote | Steve Madden Ravesh Bow Pumps

And a few days of moderate walking in these Steve Madden Ravesh Pumps (reviewed here) confirmed my initial suspicion that they are not suited for extended strolls. They are, however, gorgeous shoes and were well received by even those who rarely acknowledge footwear choices.

I took pictures of these Gap Cable Sweaters some time ago but never found the right opportunity to share them. I did not keep them because I found better (for me) alternatives but thought they were decent for the price.

Reviews warned they were pill prone so that’s something to consider if you are contemplating a purchase.

Cable Knit Pullover | Snow Cap | Petite XS
Underarm to underarm: 17″ | Shoulder: 13″ | Length: 21.5″ | Sleeve Length: 22″ | Waist: 17″

I did not find significant differences in fit between regular and petite sizes. The sweater in regular is marginally longer than the petite variation but not noticeably so.

Cable Knit Pullover | Heather Gray | Regular XS
Underarm to underarm: 17″ | Shoulder: 13″ | Length: 22″ | Sleeve Length: 23.5″ | Waist: 16.5″

My other picks for the sale include the Shrunken Sweatshirt, Boatneck Pullover, Pleat-back T, 1969 Sexy Boyfriend Jeans, 1969 Destructed Sexy Boyfriend Jeans, Rugby Stripe Dress, Striped Pullover, and Cozy V-neck Sweater.

Happy shopping!
