Burberry’s
fall/winter sale has started and it is a doozy. Sizes go down to 0 and
up to 14. If you have been thinking about a Burberry coat or trench,
now’s the time. By second cut popular sizes will be mostly gone.
If you wear the smallest woman’s sizes or have a wee one to shop for, you might consider these girls’ options (goes up to size 14, which is roughly a woman’s size 0/2).

The Mottram Trench that I own and wear constantly is on sale for $750. I do find the length challenging at times so you should consider this slightly longer option for versatility.

Zara’s winter sale started earlier today and discounts on the first cut are, as expected, just so-so. I do want to get some reviews up in case you were contemplating a purchase.
Zara Checked Blazer – the material is reasonable for the price (originally $35.99; now $29.99) but the cutouts on the design make it only selectively flattering. The fit is shrunken so you might consider a size up to wear thicker layers below.

This Boy’s Striped Sweater is not on sale ($29.90). The largest size offered is size 13-14, which will fit someone who wears a woman’s small. Material is thin-to-medium weight.

The Two-Sided Coat is on sale for $79.99; I thought the material and design were worth the price but found the contrasting piping a little too trendy for my purpose. It is sufficiently warm and practical.

The Two-Ply Trousers (on sale for $39.99) is available in four colors and the cropped length makes it appropriate for even those with shorter legs (like me). The material, 97% cotton and 3% elastane, felt wrinkle-prone to me.

I really liked the Duffle Coat with Faux Sheepskin Hood to lounge in. The “faux sheepskin” accents appear only where they can be seen but the coat itself is not wholly lined in shearling.

And I was extremely pleased with my last Juicy Couture order (the entire store is 40% off today; the discount will be applied automatically in the cart). I would recommend the Scalloped Lace Dress, Wool Short Swing Coat, and Coated Skinny Jean.
You can wait for the after-Christmas 50% off sale but inventory tends to be really low at that point. I don’t think a 10% difference is that significant if you are a responsible shopper.
