Leather jackets are a beautiful thing. They toughen up girly garb, tame provocative outfits, add polish to casual looks, and elevate basic ensembles.
That I wasted so many years and dollars on ersatz leather jackets is a shame. That I am still looking for that consummate black leather jacket is kind of unbelievable.

About this jacket: I became smitten with it almost immediately (loved it on Wendy) but it sold out during my indecision. Finally, with the help of Suddenlee, I bought it at a small discount during Zara’s summer’s sale.
I feel bad
that Suddenlee only charged a meager $19 in “service fee,” which
included overnight shipping (granted it was a short trip). Suddenlee is
one of those services I recommend to everyone even though I have no
affiliation with them, out of selfishness because I want them to stay
healthily in business.
If you have any recommendations for a great leather jacket, please leave a comment below. I am looking for something fairly utilitarian (functional hardware only).
