Boyfriend jeans are a thing of many contradictions. They
are, in essence, modified men’s jeans adapted for less angular bodies and are meant
to exude an air of insouciance yet are anything but.
Tactfully low-rise, relaxed but not sloppily so, and about five washes away from actually being your boyfriend’s jeans, a good pair of boyfriend jeans presents a real challenge to find. I had searched for months to no avail and when an opportunity presented itself, I leapt at the chance to try a pair (ok, I agonized over my decision to accept a gift but curiosity invariably trumped reason).
I also want to try harem pants (could be interesting,
right? At least comfortable) before the end of the summer. Do any of you have suggestions for where I might start my search?
