Weekly Shopping Update

Happy Friday!

I deem my last Forever 21 order a total success. Of the few items I ordered, I found three definite keepers (Draped Georgette Top, Faux Leather Bow Belt, and Relaxed Fit Racerback Tank), which is no small feat for a Forever 21 order.

The Essential Lace Top pictured below reminds me of one of J. Crew’s bestsellers from the last year, the Raindrop Lace Top, except at a much more affordable price point.

J. Crew has been running uninterrupted promotions and marking things down left and right. A new sale appeared online today, with a few dozen vacation styles on promotion for 40% off. Shop the women’s collection here, men’s here, boys’ here, and girls’ here.

Silk-Trim Maxidress

In-store prices are much more attractive but my local stores had
considerably fewer styles compared to the online selection. The Rugby-Stripe Dress
that I tried on here is on sale in stores for a cool $30 before
additional discounts (stores are also running the extra 30% off
promotion). The Convertible Jewel-Collar Linen Sweater is $40 before discounts and the Cream Glimmer Tweed Mini is $25.
