The peplum “trend” is one that generates mixed reactions. Some people can’t wait for it to fade out of existence and others, like me, continue to embrace it.
My formerly insatiable appetite for peplum has mostly dissipated but I still browse from time to time for a visual treat.

Some peplum styles that I absolutely adore and am fascinated by: (slightly) prissy Nanette Lepore Lightshow Illusion Dress, menswear-inspired Hive & Honey Peplum Button-Down, ladylike Rebecca Taylor Tweed Peplum Top (also loving this Alice + Olivia Lace Peplum Jacket), divine Hakaan Jersey and Tulle Peplum Dress (stunning if slightly too fantastical), edgy ASOS Peplum Waist Belt, retro-vibed Lolli Peplum Swimsuit, and thought-provoking Skye & Staghorn Peplum Bikini Top (does it hold its shape underwater or when wet? I have so many questions).
