Black, White, and Blue

No weekly shopping update this week because I have been too distracted by the beautiful weather outside to take pictures (even poor-quality phone pictures) of items from the last week.

A roundup of some recent purchases: I splurged on two J. Crew Collection Cashmere Cable Sweaters (>70% off with code SPRINGTHAW), decided to keep the Kate Spade Lisa pumps in Silver Bow Mesh (fits true to size), decided to return the Klein Classic Trench Coat (slightly gaudy in person), am ambivalent about keeping the Forever 21 Faux Leather & Knit Moto Jacket (which fits quite slim in size 2; it’s also expensive for Forever 21) and firmly returned several pairs of shoes purchased at a steep discount from Amazon (Pour La Victoire Collins Loafer, Wanted Gyp Loafer, Dolce Vita Selina Pump, and Dolce Vita Sue Pump – all of which were 75+% off with a 20% off code from Amazon).

Ann Taylor Drape Neck Button Front Blouse (no longer available) | J. Crew Bubble Necklace | Ann Taylor Cotton/Linen Pencil Skirt (no longer available) | Hermes H Buckle Reversible Belt | Zara Office City Bag | Ann Taylor Exotic Embossed Leather Perfect Block Heels

I know people read this blog for entertainment and not to be saddled with reminders of distressing current events but if you are wondering how you can lend a hand to the victims of the recent Boston bombing and their families , here is a list, compiled by NBC News, of organizations that you can support which have been aiding the victims and their families in the aftermath of the incident.
