The first day of Spring is merely two weeks away but in my mind, spring has already arrived. Some of my favorite things about Spring are the flirty dresses associated with warm weather.
Here are some dresses that make my heart sing.
I
can always count on Alice + Olivia to provide us with frothy dresses
that exude elegance while retaining an air of youthfulness. If there is
one dress that I *have* to have this year, the Gwen Feather Skirt Dress is it. It is, however, 1k so I will be waiting patiently for a sale.

Bows are (or have been) the highlight of Kate Spade’s last few collections but they are especially front and center this Spring. There are navy dresses with cream bows, pearl necklaces with bow detail, black scarves with white bows, bow rings, mint tops with black bows, bow bangles, sleeveless sweaters with bows, navy skirts with cream bows, metallic leather belts with bow, white tops with navy bows, twill dresses with bow neckline, elastic belts with bow, square scarves with black bows, cardigans with bows, bow stud earrings, and patent leather pumps with bows.

Bold stripes are somewhat seasonless which is why some women (cough, me, cough) sometimes feel compelled to buy them in all colors. This Forever 21 rendition is available in green and pink and seem so perfect for Spring.

This jeweled brocade dress has to be my favorite piece from J. Crew’s Spring collection. It does suffer from to-where-do-I-wear-this syndrome – too dressy for work and not very evening appropriate either. I can see this being pretty for attending a wedding.

Ombre seems to be making a comeback this Spring. I especially like the Stretta Sofia Dress which neatly combines two popular trends.

I have been salivating over the Kate Spade Carolyn Dress but its price tag is more than a little intimidating. I loved SewPetiteGal’s DIY version but am really unhandy. I was over the moon when I discovered this much more affordable option from the Limited (via Lisa’s blog). Better yet, there’s an even cheaper version from Old Navy.

RED Valentino is one of my favorite labels for dresses. I personally don’t own any (small sizes are usually gone by the time sales roll around) but always enjoy looking at pictures of their beautifully crafted dresses. The Hand Painted Floral Cotton Silk Dress and Gem Embellished Brocade Dress are two of my favorites from the S/S collection.
