Another Wednesday, another feeble effort in resisting sales.
Retailer: J. Crew
Discount: New markdowns and further reductions; free shipping on all orders with code FREESHIP
Notes: I picked up the Cambridge Cable Crewneck Sweater, the Cambridge Cable Chunky Turtleneck Sweater, more Cashmere-lined Leather Gloves, the Toothpick Cord in Ribbon Bow Print (back in stock in all sizes) and the Schoolboy Blazer in Heather Caramel that Jean has been sporting with some frequency on her blog. (before my indiscretion today) I have been staying away from the sale section at J. Crew since new arrivals (especially the Collection Jeweled Gilded Brocade Dress) on the site serve as a constant reminder that good things are not in short supply.
A few things I had in my cart but ultimate removed: Noir Tweed Dress, Wintress Puffer (now $129.99), Jules Dress in Botanical Print, and Swiss-Dot Chiffon Dress.
Retailer: J. Crew Factory
Discount: Extra 25% off sitewide with code MOREPLEASE
Notes: The perfect time to pick up (somewhat cheaply) items that you missed out on last Spring. A few items that have potential include the Multicolor Tweed Mini (factory version of the Postage Stamp Mini in Confetti Tweed that I own), the Lace Shift Dress (similar to the Tiered Shift Dress in Raindrop Lace from last spring; I wore it in this post) and the Girls’ Ribbon Bow Polka Dot Tee.
Retailer: Banana Republic
Discount: Use BRSHOP30 at checkout for 30% off your purchase; coupon excludes Monogram and Mad Men Collection items.
Notes: I will update thist post later today with pictures of some items I ordered recently
(specifically of the Striped Scoop-neck Pullover, Candy Rondelle Bracelet, Engineered Stripe Tee, Floral Bouquet Bracelet, Leather Skinny Bracelet, Pearly Bangle Set, and Genuine Freshwater Pearl Choker Necklace.)
Retailer: Dorothy Perkins
Discount: Secret Sale
Notes: I have never personally ordered from Dorothy Perkins but have heard bad things about their customer service and return policy. Consider your purchases final sale if you order from DP.
Discount: Spring Sale – 40% to 65% off regular prices
Retailer: Miss KL
Notes: Karmaloop’s new site for “women”; there are some styles on deep discount so if you have time to kill, this might be fun.
Retailer: Ann Taylor
Discount: 30% off full-priced items with code ENJOYANN
Notes: The winter is nearly over but I still wanted to recommend these Uniqlo Heat Tech turtlenecks (thought I lost these pictures but rediscovered them). They are about 10-15 dollars a piece, very warm, and are thin enough to serve as a base layer. If you are still looking for turtleneck tees to wear under shirts or dresses, look no further.

Retailer: Neiman Marcus
Notes: One of my favorite purchases from December (haven’t had a chance to blog about it yet) is the Alice + Olivia Cecily Burnout Military Jacket (I bought mine from Bloomingdale’s). It is currently on sale and available in XS at Neiman Marcus. I want to say it fits small to size (I normally find A+O alphabetical sizes to run on the larger size but in this case I probably should’ve sized up).
There are quite a few Alice + Olivia pieces on sale at Neiman Marcus at the moment and I would normally be all over them but am trying to save room in my closet for when the Fyona Lace-Bodice Party Dress and the Guilia Embroidered Box Jacket and Clover Eyelet Lace Dress go on sale.
p.s. if any of you encounter a broken link, let me know and I’ll fix it as soon as I can.
