My last order from ASOS is just ok – I didn’t love either item I purchased. The ASOS Skater Dress with Cobweb Lace looks cute from afar but I think I am going to hold out for something with better craftsmanship.

I am still waiting for my last order (Forever 21’s warehouse is on the West Coast; orders are shipped quickly but spend a lot of time in transit) but Anh of the Petite Bow said she owns and likes the Faux Leather Wedge Booties (now $5) but few sizes remain.

Picks: As attractive as J. Crew’s sale prices are (in-store>online), I just don’t want to risk my hard-earned money with final sale at this time. I am going to sideline myself until final sale is over. That said, not everyone has been as J. Crew-crazy as I have been in the last few months so I will reserve any judgment for myself.

The only items I picked up and kept from the collection are the Thom Browne NM + Target Women’s Rib Trim Blazer and the Marc Jacobs NM + Target Metallic Border-Print Scarf. I am entertaining the idea of ordering sets of the Tracy Reese dessert plates and the Joseph Altuzarra serving tray (both currently sold out) as emergency gifts.
