One of my absolute favorite purchases from my last J. Crew order is the
Sterling Skirt in Double-serge Wool. The 00P measures 20 inches in length and about 12.2 inches across the waist. It fits similarly to the Flair Skirt (reviewed here) except the flare is less pronounced and the Sterling Skirt is half an inch longer than the Flair Skirt.
I also tried this year’s
No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Double-serge Wool and the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Corkscrew Tweed, which runs at least one size bigger so if you were to order, make sure you size down.

Other items that recently dropped in price include the Tipped Peacoat, the Classic Mini, the Cafe Capri in Herringbone, the Draped Skirt, and the Classic Leather Ballet Flats.
I ended up getting a few chambray shirts (the Faded Chambray Popover, the Bow Shirt in Chambray and the Keeper Chambray Shirt – really would’ve loved to try the Perfect Shirt in Chambray Polka and the Selvedge Chambray shirt but both are sold out in my size) to try because I am about to wear a hole through my H&M one and will undoubtedly need a replacement soon. I also ordered the tissue turtleneck tee (striped version here).

One brand that I recently fell in love with but realized quickly was not for me is Torn by Ronny Kobo. Their signature dresses are constructed out of thick knits that hug your curves tightly. Unfortunately, bodycon dresses have a way of accentuating my rectangular shape so I reluctantly returned the Mammie Parisian Dress that I bought from Myhabit. The Victoria Parisian Folklore Dress on Shopbop looks like a cap-sleeved version of the Mammie dress. I also like the Elizabeth Royal Dress, Kobo Casey Dress and the Candy Baroque dress.
