I’ve been looking for maxi dresses in fun summer prints but haven’t found one that met my strict specifications. While I am indiscriminate when it comes to solid colors, I am much pickier about prints. I am, however, head over heels in love with the print on this Trina Turk for Banana Republic dress.

The dress in petite 0 is ankle-length on 5’2 me. For women my height or taller, I would recommend that you try the dress in regular length. The dress fits me very well otherwise; it’s loose in places but suits the material and the season perfectly.
I kept accessories to a minimum. The dress is a scene-stealer and
doesn’t need much more than a cardigan or a necklace – in fact, I think
it would be best to avoid pairing this dress with other prints or colors
outside of colors families already found in the print.
Trina Turk is known for bold colors and interesting prints and this collaboration with Banana Republic infuses the elements that the brand is best known for. The collection will be available on Thursday June 7th but facebook fans of Banana Republic will be able to access the collection on Wednesday.
