Review : J. Crew Confetti Tweed Jacket + Postage Stamp Mini

One of my favorite (but most conflicted) purchases from J. Crew recently is this Confetti Tweed Jacket

This jacket is not available in petite so the 3/4 sleeves look a bit off on me as they end (awkwardly) about an inch above my wrist bone. The jacket in 00 fits me well otherwise. I bought the matching mini skirt (not too mini at 17.5 inches long) a few days later even though I don’t plan on wearing them together with any frequency.

Part of the J. Crew Collection, the jacket is slightly pricier at $278 but is now $169.99 in stores (I bought mine for 30% less during the last promo). The skirt, which retails for 98, dropped in price to $69.99.

I think opinions on this jacket (and the skirt) will vary – after all, rainbow-colored tweed is not everyone’s cup of tea – so I’ll just leave you with pictures and let you come to your own conclusion.

See the jacket on Vicky and Sydney.

J. Crew is running another “secret” sale. Use MUSTSHOP at checkout for an additional 30% off. There are new markdowns this morning. I liked the Hilary dress, No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Superfine Cotton, Talitha blouse, Gondola stripe skirt, Postage stamp mini in big apple, No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Terrazzo Tweed (matching jacket not yet on sale), Elinor dress in polka dot, Ella dress in rambling rose, Edie Tote, and Biennial satchel.
