Layering a shirt underneath otherwise yawn-inducing dresses is one of my new favorite ways to wear a dress. I hadn’t done it for a few years because, for a while there, the idea reminded me too much of my parochial school days (shudder).
My friend Ping, whom I had the pleasure of meeting last weekend (yes, she is even prettier in person and just as nice and funny as she appears on her blog) made something that was previously juvenile-looking to me chic again.
