Spring, or warm weather in general, make me especially ambitious. One of my goals since graduating from college a few years ago is to try to learn conversational French on my own but I rarely found enough motivation to leap through the initial hurdle. I have been listening to those “listen and learn” CD’s on my iPod a few times a week but plan to put together a more structured schedule to monitor myself.
How do you learn new languages? Do you find it’s more pragmatic to use a program like Rosetta Stone or to sign up for a language class?
