On weekends I like to incorporate at least one piece that I can’t wear to work in every outfit. It can be a shoulder baring tee or a pair of fun boots. In any case, they make me feel dressed up but not square.

I used to shop the kids department and it was a big mistake. This old Juicy Couture girls dress should serve as a reminder to me to stay away. It’s been at least a year since I last wore it and I have resorted to wearing blousy tops over it to disguise its misgivings (aka a waist that falls just under my bust…shudder). I do love the print though (and at the time I loved the price as kids clothes tend to be cheaper than adult clothes).
The other night in a state of extreme exhaustion, I stayed up so I can catch up on Smash and while the show was playing in the background I started browsing Zara online. I ended up checking out with a few pieces from their kids collection but upon receiving the order was appalled by what a bad decision that was.
Shopping while tired is never a good idea.
