When I first saw these Ivanka Trump Chalta Pumps, I was immediately drawn to the elegant opening and the almond shaped toe. I typically have reservations about celebrity “designed” shoe collections but just had to try these for myself before I can move on.
I almost always wear a 6.5/7 in pumps and my feet are slightly wide. The size 7 Chalta Pumps fit perfectly with tights. The construction leaves a lot to be desired but the quality isn’t too far off from other shoes in its price range. It has lovely details, like the flap with a silver button in the back.
I really want to keep these pumps but have a few things to nitpick. First, the heels are extremely thin and difficult to walk in, even on carpet. Second, the size 7 is a perfect fit but the lack of a platform in the front plus the height makes this shoe a balance threat. I don’t think this shoe is very functional but it is beautiful to look at.
Please help me make a decision. I am torn!
