I had sent back the rest of the sale orders that I placed and planned on keeping these three items but after taking pictures decided to only keep one. The good thing about blogging is that it forces me to scrutinize my purchases.

First up – ASOS Chiffon Hem Draped Suit Blazer in UK Regular 6/ US Regular 2: I thought this was really pretty and loved the chiffon hem but wow is it ever unflattering on me. It’s not work appropriate and after some struggle I decided the material compounded with the fit will render it mostly unwearable for my lifestyle.
And this is one of my favorite styles from ASOS – ASOS PETITE Cowl Back Shift Dress in UK Petite 4/US Petite 0/1: I am kicking myself for not ordering the black when it was still available. I decided to only keep the cream because I really don’t like the color “rust” on my skin tone. The torso is a little tight on me but I love the back of the dress. I consider myself pretty broad-backed but this dress makes me feel less lineman-like.
The cream and rust fit similarly – so no sizing discrepancies between colors. I think I am too long-torso’ed for the petite length so will probably try to order the regular size 2 when it becomes available again. Crossing my fingers for ASOS to re-release this style in other colors.
I am eying the still full-priced ASOS Drape Cowl Back Dress with Strap Detail because of its similarity to this dress.
And I thought I’d be able to wear my Victoria’s Secret Pink® Multi-way Plunge Bra with this dress but had forgotten that it has back straps. The Style Secrets® U-plunge Backless Push-up Bra would be much better with it but I only have it in black and the dress in cream isn’t thick enough to mask the dark bra.
