My trench journey is far from over (one day I will find my perfect Burberry trench in an unexpected style…like this knotted one from a million years ago) but I happened upon this feminine trench at H&M last week. It’s on sale for $20 (originally $59.95?) and the size 2 is not a poor fit for me.
I spotted another size 6 in my local store and have seen this style elsewhere (not marked down; but if you asked the cashier to run a price check for you they’ll be able to mark it down to $20).
Petite friend Elaine over at Toronto Beauty Reviews posted about this a few months ago, read her post here.
This is the second trench in a khaki/stone color in my possession. I have a lovely trench from a while ago that is too big for me and requires alterations. So if anyone has a a tailor who has experience in trench alterations, please let me know. In the meantime, this H&M one should do the trick.

And the magic power of Ben & Jerry’s – it’s on sale for $1.99 at Shoprite this week (for those of you who inhabit this corner of the world). I am on track to polishing off on average about 2 of these a day. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
