I had lusted after this lace blazer last winter – it was part of H&M’s seasonal “By Night” collection but twitter friends were quick to bring me back down to reality. Sure, it’s cute in concept but at $49.95 is it money that I am throwing into the water?
I am rash but when given the right advice know when to walk away. But fate had a different plan for me and my lace blazer. Blogger friend Jean found this blazer in a size 2 at her local H&M marked down to a mere $10. When she asked me if I wanted it I didn’t even hesitate.
So here I am, united at last with the object of my affection. It’s snug fit for me in the size 2 but I love it. So, thank you Jean for making my (sartorial) dream come true.
p.s. In reviewing at my outfit pictures in which I am wearing pants, I really need better-fitting work pants. Where can I find pants that accommodate a smallish waist and bigger thighs? These pants make me feel like a grandma.
So this how I actually want to wear this blazer…but I am much too shy to be wearing blazers sans a top and shorts are typically a no no for me at work.
