I picked up a copy of the Fall/Winter issue of the H&M magazine yesterday and thought I would share with you all some of the looks that I liked.
I really like all the refined ladylike looks for fall and if executed right I see so much potential for the pieces that have yet to hit the shelves.
(shriek) SCALLOPS! High-waisted scallop shorts in fall/winter fabric…This is going on my wishlist.
This top (which also came in dress form) is already a hit in the petite community. See the items on Jean (dress here, top here) and Michelle.
Another one of my favorite items from the fall lookbook is this lace skirt…I am a little skeptical of H&M’s ability to do a good lace item so I am reserving my excitement for when I see it in person.
I actually saw this long blazer in person yesterday (came in at least one other color) and I can see it being really unflattering and overwhelming for someone my height with my proportions. I have a few longer, shapeless blazers in my closet and they have never been worn because they look so unflattering on me.
And I adore this three-piece “suit” – the vest seen in the ad is already in stores and is the same exact cut as the black vest that I purchased recently. There is also another black pinstriped version that was very chic.
