Work Staples + Inspirations: Late Summer

While browsing Forever 21 last week (I still have to use up the merchandise credit I received while making a return earlier in the month) I noticed that the flash banner for Love21, Forever21’s contemporary line, had what appeared to be wearable work staples. 

Upon closer evaluation, however, I found that I was unable to find these items online. There’s a chance they may have sold out but I have, in general, never been able to find the items advertised in lookbooks in the actual online offering.

Regardless, I do love the simple lines and versatile pieces styled in the lookbook and found lookalikes elsewhere to recreate the looks.
