Shoe Lust : Jimmy Choo Whirl Patent-Leather Ballerina Flats

My infatuation with heels began early – going to parochial school where part of the uniform entailed wearing heeled shoes meant that by age 11 I was running around town in these little wedges. Sadly while my obsession with high heels grew with age my ankles deteriorated at about the same rate.

I more recently decided that shopping in high heels is no longer an option so I decided to explore the world of flats. I fell in love with these Jimmy Choo two-tone flats but was wary of most designer flats being too narrow for my foot shape. Nonetheless I decided to take a gamble. Luckily, the gamble paid off because these flats are TTS and are rather wide in shape.

I am not a fan of toe cleavage but these fit rather well so I decided to keep them anyway. The leather is soft and the rubber sole is an added bonus.

What is your favorite pair of flats?

(In case you were also interested in purchasing these flats, I am typically a size 6.5/7 in heels. 7 in sneakers and 7 in flats. I have average to wide width. The flats modeled here are a size 7.)
