As for my own entry for this challenge…after testing out a few outfit ideas, I decided that the most practical and foolproof way to protect myself against office death chills is blazers. Cardigans are nice but I find that blazers keep me warm most effectively. In my opinion, medium-weight cropped blazers are incredibly versatile and can be worn both to work and on weekends to the movies or dinner.

Color blocking with this summer’s “it colors” – the blouse and skirt are both constructed from lightweight material so while it does provide a degree of protection against the cold it isn’t insulated and therefore sweat-prone.

Top: H&M
Skirt: Zara
Blazer: Loft
Shoes: Franco Sarto
Necklace & Bracelets: Forever 21
