Petite Fashion Challenge #9 – “Heat Wave Appropriate”

When it comes to New England weather, there is rarely an ambient temperature. When I am not suffocating in the heat outside I am bundled up and hanging onto my winter coat for dear life inside the confines of the well air-conditioned office walls.

With this dilemma in mind, I challenge you all to create an outfit that accounts for the various environmental factors that plague us in the summer. I want to know how you dress when it’s 90 degrees outside and 65 degrees inside. Do you utilize peel-able layers? Are you particular about choosing fabric that is light but resistant? Or do you just tack on a blazer over summer clothes?

To participate,

For bloggers, simply leave your blog URL in the comments and schedule the post for July 30th at 8PM E.S.T.

And don’t forget to check back on July 30th at 8:15 PM E.S.T. for a complete list of participants. Happy challenge!

(I want to acknowledge everyone in the petite community (Elaine, Sydney, Aubrey, RL and anyone else I fail to mention) who offered their help while I looked for a challenge topic. This idea actually originated with a post in the AN Forum and was suggested to me again by Jean)
